Growing Fast...

Since returning from New Zealand, Maya has made leaps and bounds in terms of her development. In the last week and a half, she has started 4 new things: climbing stairs, waving, clapping her hands and vocal babbling (wa wa wa, which is interesting, because I was expecting something more traditional like ba, ba, or ma, ma, or even da, da??). The vocalising began in earnest with the climbing of the stairs (luckily we only have three in our little studio) - she can't seem to climb or pull her self up onto furniture without lots of vocal babbling; the two seem to go hand in hand. I have the distinct feeling that she will be walking by the time we leave for the States?? Get ready, everyone! I am glad to see this stage, but also missing my 'little' baby already.
