Maya's First Wedding

Here are some photos from our trip to Sydney late last month. Our friend Kate got married (to the lovely Jonathon - here is a photo of Kate with us and her mum, Vicki) in the gorgeous Sydney Botanic Gardens, at the old Lion's Gate Lodge. Maya almost outdid the bride, in her red Chinese dress! Maya loved the plane trip down - especially finishing off my cup of tea and reading the inflight magazines.

Hard to believe Maya is 18 months now! She is teething again (not so fun). Her favourite words are 'Out!' (as in out, Bindi - the dog), Daddy, Bye and Bye-Bye, Hi and Hello, and Bindi. She also imitates lots now - especially animal sounds like 'Mooo' when she sees the cows!
